About Me
I am a content creator who likes building fictional worlds with clouds of reality.
Although I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Liberal Arts and a specialisation in Literature, my journey in the field began in 2017 with the publication of my novel titled 'An Identity.' I've spent most of my growing years building my writing portfolio. In 2021, I had the privilege of delivering a TEDx talk on the glamorisation of toxic masculinity in young adult novels.
My words have found a home on numerous platforms such as 'Assembly by Malala Fund,' 'ED Times,' 'GirlUp Sky,' and 'Reclamation Magazine.' My research paper based on Turkish Literature was also recently published in my college's undergraduate journal. In my spare time, I draft and voice my poems on a Spotify podcast called 'The Unlit Candle Vol. II.'
Apart from all things Literature, I usually unwind by painting along with a Bob Ross tutorial or stitching away an embroidery design. If there was one thing the paints and threads taught me was patience. Patience with your art so that it can grow to be what you want it to be. Patience to reach the position of a Staff Writer or an Editor a few years down the line.
In an effort to nurture my growth, I'm currently enrolled in the Professional Writing and Communications program at Humber College in Toronto.
